1. Q. How quickly will I receive the latest judgments?
A. Within 24 hours of being released from the Judiciary.
     
2. Q. How and when will I receive notification?
A. Via e-mail on a daily basis (applicable to English judgments only).
     
3. Q. Do the e-mail notifications state from which Court they emanate?
A. Yes, the e-mails contain catchwords, case name, court, case number and date of judgment.
     
4. Q. How is the current year's information archived?
A. It is an annual cumulative service with material archived monthly.
     
5. Q. Are there any extra charges for downloading, copying or saving information?
A. No.
     
6. Q. Can these citations be quoted in a court of law?
A. Yes, as with all unreported cases, the court number can be used. If the case is subsequently reported in the Hong Kong Law Reports & Digests (HKLRD), then the HKLRD citation should be used.
     
7. Q. Is it possible to locate a specific judgment?
A. Yes, you can find a case by using the HKEC citation, catchwords, case reference number, party name, judge name, or even the date of judgment.
